8 Eastern European Plant-Based Bloggers You Should Know About

There are incredibly talented plant-based bloggers around the world. Gone are the days of searching for a new vegan recipe and only finding 10-banana smoothies and gluten-free avocado toasts made by out-of-touch privileged bloggers. Eastern European food celebrates color and quality ingredients.

We’ve compiled some of our favorite Eastern European bloggers who you need to check out. Some of them are more popular than others, but they are all equally passionate about cruelty-free food and recipe development. So, pull up Instagram and get ready to start following! 

1. Marta Dymek – Jadlonomia 

 

With over 300,000 followers on Instagram, Marta Dymek from Jadlonomia is showing off her range with a variety of delectable and entire plant-based dishes. Whether you’re in the mood for filled donuts of spaghetti and meatballs, she’s got you covered with a cruelty-free and flavor-packed alternative. Her Instagram is full of colorful and enticing photos that leave you hungry for more! Check out her website for all the recipes (in Polish)! 

2. Ida Kulawik – Veganbanda 

 

The first thing you’ll notice when you visit Ida’s Instagram is the variety of topics she’s interested in. She loves food photography, discovering different vegan brands, and creating her own recipes. Every day is different when following Ida. You could learn about one of her favorite soups one day, then delve into the joys of growing micro-greens the next. She also recently released a cookbook called Roślinna Kuchnia Polska (Plant-based Polish Cuisine), so check that out if you can read Polish! Have a look at her website, too! 

3. Cory Varga – Yuzu Bakes 

Romanian-British Cory Varga from Yuzu Bakes on Instagram may have a small following, but trust us, her food is a big deal. Her creativity is unbelievable and she’s always introducing her followers to new ingredients, like banana blossoms that make mouth-watering vegan fried fish! While we love scrolling through her Instagram, her website is where the real magic happens. You can delve into her recipes, meal plans, and even do a little shopping, too! 

4. Maria – Earth of Maria

In the mood for comfort food? Maria from Earth of Maria has countless recipes for soul-warming and vegan dishes. She’s been living in the UK for the past 10 years but is originally from Russia. There’s a good mix of recipes on Maria’s Instagram and website, although it’s pretty clear she loves her pasta dishes (as do we!). It’s clear she’s spent a lot of time developing a wide range of plant-based recipes, and we can’t wait to try a few of them for ourselves. 

5. Veganstvo_syroedenie

We can’t read Russian, but we wish we could just enjoy their recipes without running them through Google Translate first! Their recipes on Instagram are rustic and filling, and there are also a few educational posts about why you should go vegan, too! There’s a new vegan recipe daily so their followers are always on the lookout for the next best dish or dessert to recreate. She has a few raw recipes, too. Yum! 

6. Elena Tyan – Deliscake 

Elena Tyan from Deliscake makes dessert for people with a huge sweet tooth who don’t want to eat tons of refined sugar. Lots of her recipes are raw and sugar-free, and all of them are vegan. Whether you like ice cream, cake, cookies, or mouses, Elena has got you covered in every department. Some of her recipes are quite elaborate, but that’s an opportunity to challenge yourself in the kitchen! Give her Instagram a follow ASAP! 

7. Anastasia – Slavic Vegan 

Anastasia runs the blog and Instagram Slavic Vegan. While she hasn’t posted for a few months, we feel like her recipes are too good to not mention! Anatasia seems to have a knack for recipes that impress. Whether she’s teaching us how to whip up her Walnut, Mushroom, and Sunchoke Paté or giving us the lowdown on her Baked Cheesecake, Anatasia is sure to bring a smile to you and your guests’ faces. 8. Petra V. – Vegan_Petra 

If you’re curious about how a Prague-based vegan enjoys food, you need to follow Petra V.! She’s an upcoming blogger who regularly posts her favorite recipes, treats, and the joys of living in Prague. Petra has a passion for good food, and we can’t wait to watch her grow in the coming months. So give her a follow on Instagram and send her some love!
