Bloody and beaten Black Rhino seen on a safari in South Africa

Rhino poaching in South Africa is reaching terrifying new levels. In just the first three months of 2025, 103 rhinos were killed—a shocking statistic that exposes the brutality of organised poaching syndicates. Though poaching in KwaZulu-Natal has dipped, the violence has simply shifted elsewhere, with 65 rhinos slaughtered in South African National Parks alone in that short time.

These majestic animals—especially critically endangered species like the Black, Javan, and Sumatran rhinos—are being pushed closer to extinction. Sophisticated smuggling tactics, lax enforcement, and underfunded wildlife protection efforts are enabling this crisis to spiral.

Local conservationists are doing all they can—but without government Support, they’re fighting a losing battle. We need urgent action now.

Sign the petition now to demand that the South African government boosts anti-poaching enforcement, increases funding, and protects these animals before it’s too late. Sign now. Share. Speak up.
