When you think of an animal who loves to cuddle, run around and give kisses, the first one that might pop into your head may be a dog. But what if we told you, the same could be used to describe a cow? Cows are incredibly gentle, affectionate, and intelligent creatures. They can recognize faces, they form strong bonds with other animals, and even with their large stature, they love to run and play. Just take a look at the two calves in this video and see for yourself!

The two calves, named Dhruva Ladhu and Kalyan Tamal, faced certain death at the hands of the dairy industry before being rescued. As male calves born into the dairy industry, the two calves was deemed “useless” at birth and slotted to become veal. Thankfully, they are now in the loving hands of The International Society of Cow Protection, a non-profit organization dedicated to changing how we view farm animals. Given how much these little ones love to run around, we’d say they are happy with their new living arrangement!

Please share this adorable video with your friends and family to show them cows are just as playful and loving as any other animal.
