Pregnancy comes with so many exciting, stressful, and beautiful changes. While most people experience changes with work, daily tasks, and appetite, there also might be some more unexpected changes that come with pregnancy. For one couple, pregnancy had a profound impact on their pets’ behavior!
This family has two dogs, Niko and Phil, and one cat, Milo. As soon as Niko realized that her owner was pregnant, she became more protective of her owner. Niko started guarding her owner’s pregnant belly, and her owner believes that protective, motherly instinct will not leave once the baby is born. Unlike Niko, Phil was once a dog that didn’t need much attention. However, when his owner was around twenty-five weeks pregnant, Phil became uncharacteristically affectionate and cuddly with her. While Milo doesn’t seem to be as aware as his dog siblings, he loves sleeping in the crib, the stroller, and any of the other new baby supplies.
These animals are incredible! They will make great fur siblings to their new baby sister and will bring her a lot of joy–just like this video did for us! It’s so sweet and can bring a smile to anyone’s face!
