Being abandoned by your so-called “family” is traumatic enough, but being left to survive on your own for another six months is heartbreaking. This is the life Flash was left with after his owners moved and left him to fend for himself. Thankfully, things were about to change for the better for this poor boy after Hope for Paws was called to the rescue.

Reportedly, another dog was abandoned with Flash and was already picked up, but Flash was too scared to let anyone near. Can you blame him for not trusting anyone? The little dog put up a fight, even escaping the trap Lisa and Joann set up – but with patience and gentleness, he started to realize they were on his team. These two ladies were incredible in getting this terrified guy to safety, even though it meant putting themselves in harm’s way.

With the help of Barks N’ Bitches, Flash now has a forever home, and thanks to Sunny Day Acres, he has also learned to trust again. Sometimes it takes a whole village- human or furry!
