Family Farms in Davie, Florida was marketed as a family-friendly petting zoo, but behind the scenes animals allegedly endured horrific abuse. According to reports, they were starved, forced to eat moldy food, and left sick and suffering in filthy enclosures. Chickens were crammed into coops where dead birds were found decomposing, while a cow named Buttercup lived without grass, trapped in bare dirt. Shockingly, animals were only given fresh produce if customers paid for it.

The facility is now closed, but the surviving animals have only been moved to the owner’s brother’s property—not to proper sanctuaries. Without intervention, this cruelty could continue. Over 52,000 people have already spoken out, but we need to reach 55,000 supporters.

Sign the petition now to demand Family Farms is permanently shut down and that all animals are placed in safe, reputable sanctuaries.
