Seal Pup Spotted With Surfers in California

What an extraordinary day it was for surfers off the coast of California this weekend as they gained an unexpected, utterly adorable friend – a playful seal pup looking to ride the waves!

Captured on camera by the eagle-eyed ‘Drone Dude Ed’, the heartening drone footage showcased the young seal gracefully hopping from surfboard to surfboard, seemingly in an effort to join the lineup at Pacific Beach, San Diego. The surfers, clearly enchanted, watched and shared joyful smiles from a respectful distance.

Kim Evgenia, a surfer part of the encounter, expressed her pure joy, calling it “the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me.” So moved was she that she proclaimed, “I am never getting rid of this board,” as it had been graced by the friendly marine visitor.
