We’ll never understand how people can move and leave their pet family members behind, but that, unfortunately, is exactly what happened to this lovable little pooch rescued in Compton during a fireworks display.
Watch as sweet Lola, a frightened and abandoned pooch, is rescued and then cared for in the hands of Star Paws Rescue. You can see just how scared she appears in the beginning but then begins to trust her human rescuer and shows the sweetest side ever.
Beyond just showcasing another rescue, this video also reminds us to keep our pet friends inside during fireworks displays that may be happening this Fourth of July weekend (and any time fireworks are common). Fireworks can spook pets of any kind, and if they are outside during any part of a display, it may cause them severe distress or, worse, may make them attempt to run away. Don’t lose your pet this weekend — keep them safe and occupied and feel extra loved inside this weekend!
