Although most cats hate water and would do anything not to have a bath, that’s not the case for Pym. Katie Behr, Pym’s human, adopted the adorable cat when she was seven weeks old. The 31-year-old noticed that Pym had a fascination with water just a few weeks into living together.

One day, Pym just walked into the shower with Katie. Now, Katie can’t take a single shower without Pym joining her.
“If I was getting into my robe to go into the bathroom, she would literally run into the bathroom and wait,” Behr told the Dodo.
“I remember the first time she got in the shower, and I called my mum after asking if it was normal,” said Katie. “She said no, not at all!”
The first time she got into the shower, she was only ten weeks old, so Behr thought maybe it was just a weird kitten quirk. She was worried about the temperature of the water but eventually figured out that its the temperature Pym likes too.
“Whenever she’s in the water she loves it and I think maybe it calms her down.”
Although she has tried to shower alone, Pym paws at the door the whole time, waiting to be let in. Behr has tried to towel dry her, but Pym is not a fan. However, Pym loves the special kitty robe that she wears right after the shower, just like her human.
