In 2024, just 32 fossil fuel companies produced half of the world’s carbon Pollution. While families face deadlier heatwaves, floods, fires, and droughts, a small set of corporations keeps expanding oil and gas and collecting profits while the planet pays. Saudi Aramco and ExxonMobil are among the biggest contributors. One estimate says that if Saudi Aramco were a country, it would rank as the world’s fifth largest carbon polluter, just behind Russia.
