She enjoys coming up with new plant based dishes, taking pictures of those dishes to put up on Instagram with a great filter and some pertinent hashtags and then eating those dishes. Yeah, she’s that person. She also likes to tell people she’s been drinking almond milk since before it was cool, has a small thrift store addiction and cannot pass up a garage sale. She lives with her two kids, two dogs and husband in the wild west. Read more about JJ Dolm Read More
Imagine you’re a golden retriever named Keelo. You’re, naturally, pretty spectacular because you’re a golden retriever and you rule. Life is pretty sweet. Then, your pet parents rescue a ball of fluff from some bushes and bring it home. Not only that, they name it Koda and expect you to be friends with it.
Seriously, things were great, why in the world would your pet parents try and fix something that wasn’t even broken? So what that Koda is cute and, yeah, he’s fun to hang around with. It’s also sorta awesome that your humans took in a cat that needed help, rescuing the little guy from the many harsh things that can befall a homeless animal. Okay, okay so it’s kinda cool to have a new roomie, even if it is a cat.
Who are we kidding, it’s so much more than cool! Keelo and Koda are attached at the hip, cuddling together in a cute pile that is unparalleled. Anyone who thinks cats and dogs don’t get along need look no further than their Instagram page where picture after picture of the pair enjoying each other’s company provide a daily dose of adorable. Duos like these remind us that best friends come in all shapes and sizes and that the reward for rescuing an animal in need goes so much deeper than just bringing home a new pet.

Just like my Daisy and rescued kitten Lucy!
Kitten has clearly understood the way of things in pet hierarchy… entered house, and identified man servants, as well as dog-slave…
Awe, they are both adorable!
