After Being Dumped by His Family, This Dog Lived on the Streets With No Food or Water

When kind folks from He’Art of Rescue found Luke the dog, his eyes pleaded for help. The eight-year old puppy was sick and in a cage at a shelter along with several other stray dogs who had been rescued that week. They all needed a home and family, and this is the story of just one animal in need.

Meet Luke. Here is some footage of him at a shelter.

This precious animal had a family, but when they decided they could not take care of him anymore, they drove him far from their house and left him there to fend for himself. Eventually, Luke made it to a shelter.

He has lived on the streets for about four months.

When He’Art of Rescue found him at the shelter, this dog had a frail body and an obviously broken spirit.

Luke looked dehydrated, sick, alone and abandoned. That is when He’Art of Rescue decided to place him in one of their clinics.

They gave him food and water and performed tests to assess his internal organs.

They have helped rehabilitate him and shown him lots of kindness. Now, he has healed and transformed into a beautiful dog!
