When Hope For Paws received an urgent message about an animal disaster, they rushed to the rescue!
A school custodian was seconds away from emptying a trash can when he noticed a cat had given birth to three kittens inside! The rescue team gently transferred the trash can into an enclosed classroom. They then carefully weighed their options and came up with a strategic plan to make sure the kittens wouldn’t be able to escape. The rescue team set up a cage and slowly lowered the trash right next to it so that the kittens could easily make their way into the trap. The rescue team then picked up the kittens one by one from the trash can and into the carrier.
Back at the care center, the mom was reunited with her healthy babies. Watch the video to see this adorable family thriving in their new foster home!
