There are over 70 million homeless pets living in the U.S., many of which will never get the chance to know the love of a forever home. Some of these animals were abandoned by their guardians who no longer wished to care for them, while others were born on the streets, but they all have to endure the fear and uncertainty that comes with being a stray animal. Hope for Paws rescue is working to help end this suffering one stray pup at a time.
In this video, the Hope for Paws team sets out to rescue Jenny the Chihuahua who had been living on the streets her entire life. A kind person had noticed the frightened little pup and helped direct rescuers to find her. Like most homeless dogs, Jenny was extremely unwary of the people who had come to help her but after a lot of coaxing and patience, she finally came around.
After a good bath and surgery to fix a prolapsing eyelid, Jenny is all ready to find a loving forever home! To learn more about how to adopt this sweet pup, check out the Smooch Pooch Rescue website.
