Golden Retriever Caught Stealing in Viral Video!

Golden Retriever

A golden retriever named Remy has taken the spotlight on TikTok, thanks to her irresistible antics that exemplify the saying, “What’s mine is yours.” In the video shared by TikTok user @benny_and_remy, nine-month-old Remy is seen embracing her role as the typical younger sibling. Her “daily mission” is nothing short of adorable: trying to steal her older brother Benny’s toy, all while he takes a peaceful nap. It doesn’t matter how many toys Remy has; she has a soft spot for the one her big brother possesses, and she’ll stop at nothing to claim it.

Surprisingly, Benny, at the age of two, remains unfazed when his little sister wakes him up to steal his toys. He plays the role of the loving big brother and lets her have her way. The bond between these two furry siblings is nothing short of heartwarming.

As any dog parent can attest, it’s not uncommon for items to mysteriously disappear. Puppies, in particular, have a curious and playful nature, and nothing is off-limits to their exploration—be it socks, discarded items, food, or toys that don’t belong to them. Occasionally, Benny returns the favor and attempts to steal Remy’s toys, although Sutton notes that this occurs “far less frequently.”

Remy, as the younger sibling, is unquestionably the cheekier of the two, as expected. At just a few months old, she enjoys causing a bit of mischief and testing her brother’s patience. However, there’s more to Remy than her playful shenanigans. Sutton is training her to become an allergy detection dog, a crucial role as his wife is allergic to certain types of nuts. It’s hoped that Remy’s heightened sense of smell will help identify allergenic ingredients in the future.

The video of Remy’s daring toy heist was posted on TikTok on October 3, and it has already captured the hearts of more than 8.5 million viewers, garnering over 842,000 likes. Daniel Sutton couldn’t have anticipated the level of response, but he’s delighted to share Remy’s cheeky and endearing personality with the world.
