Furless Puppy Abandoned in Freezing Temperatures

When a Wisconsin resident heard crying coming from a park near his house, he headed into the cold to investigate. Heartbreakingly, he found Moochie. The six to nine-month-old furless puppy had been left in sub-freezing conditions. He was abandoned in just a wire crate, without even a bottom. His rescuer immediately took him home and contacted Katy Scott to help the young dog. A TikTok video posted to the account @katyscott tells the furless puppy’s heartbreaking story.

In the video, an adorable but nearly bald Moochie can be seen. Not only had Moochie been abandoned, but he was suffering from a severe case of demodectic mange. This parasitic infection had left the young puppy furless. He was also malnourished, and suffering from several infections. 

Despite his struggles, Moochie has not given up. Now that he is receiving medical attention, the young pup is quickly improving. His rescuer says that he gets along well with her dogs and cats. Additionally, he is sweet and loves to play with toys. In the video, the furless pup can be seen pouncing on a toy and shaking it around. 

The story of the furless puppy touched viewers’ hearts on TikTok. Many donated money towards Moochie’s care and treatment. Additionally, there have already been inquiries about adopting the sweet young pup. Hopefully, Moochie will soon find a forever home where the sweet pup will receive all the love that he deserves.
