Dogs have been “man’s best friend” for centuries. Dogs provide us with unconditional love and support and even a few along the way laughs too. And this video from the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is no different. The video shows the incredible bond we share with dogs and how this one particular family has returned the favor of one exceptional dog by creating a sanctuary.
After their daughter had fallen into a coma and would not wake up, a dog was able to bring her back to life. Now the family is paying it forward by helping homeless dogs in Bali by providing food and veterinary care, with the help of the International Fund for Animal Welfare, as well as the Bali Animal Welfare Association.
International Fund for Animal Welfare is currently one of the largest animal welfare and Conservation charities in the world. With projects in more than 40 countries, IFAW saves individual animals, protects entire animal populations (such as the illegal killing of elephants for their ivory) and preserves precious habitat.
