Senior Dog Who Survived Vicious Attack Desperately Needs Your Help to Pull Through

Thank goodness for animals rescuers! Foxy, a senior Labrador Retriever, found herself in dangerous circumstances recently. Foxy was attacked by FOUR dogs in South Carolina and probably given her senior age, she didn’t fight back. Soon after, her guardians rushed her to a local veterinarian hospital.

There were two options: she could be admitted to the hospital if a rescue group would be able to pay for the life-saving surgery that was needed for the injuries and the other option was euthanasia. The veterinarian hospital just happens to be Rescue Dogs Rock NYC‘s partner veterinarian in South Carolina, so the foster and the volunteer-based group said YES to the surgery without any hesitation.

This senior gal is clearly a fighter because she survived the serious surgery!

“….we could not let Foxy die because of this. She is an innocent victim who deserves to get help,” Rescue Dogs Rock NYC wrote on their Facebook page.  

While Foxy survived the surgery, she is still considered to be in critical condition and has a long road to recovery. We are thankful Rescue Dogs Rock NYC gave her a second chance!
