Moose is a Great Dane mix who has spent over 400 days at Benton Franklin Humane Society in Washington State. A video posted to a volunteer at the shelter’s TikTok account shows the large dog’s heartbreaking change during his long stay. The shelter volunteer, Julie Saraceno, says that Moose’s demeanor has changed over his time at the shelter.

One dog’s determination to find a loving home led him on an incredible journey from an animal shelter to a nursing home, where he was adopted by the residents.
