In an episode of “Christina on the Coast,” reality star Christina Hall opens up about her French bulldog, Cash, who has been struggling to adjust ever since she and her husband “blended dog families.” Seeking solutions for her upset dog, Christina visits the Chakra Shack in Laguna Beach, California, accompanied by her husband, their 12-year-old daughter Taylor, and their other dog, Stella. Their goal is to meet with an animal empath and gain a better understanding of Cash’s behavioral problems.

At the Chakra Shack, the family meets with Durga, an empathic healer and pet communicator. Durga explains her ability to emotionally connect with animals, emphasizing that dogs have feelings, thoughts, and personalities. She believes that by understanding their inner world, slight adjustments can lead to significant changes in behavior.

Christina shares her concern about blending their dog families after marrying Josh in April. She describes how Cash incessantly barks at every little noise, even when he sees her but fails to stop barking. Durga offers to hold Cash to tune into his emotions and immediately senses a heavy-heartedness and a feeling of loss.

Durga reveals, “So Cash, when I tune into him, I almost want to cry. My heart gets heavy, and I feel like there’s a barrier like he’s losing you. He definitely feels like he’s lost his place, but he actually feels like … I don’t know if it’s territorial or that he has to constantly prove himself or get attention. Because he feels like he’s being put in the background in some way.”

The clip ends with Christina appearing saddened and upset by the information about Cash. Clearly, the revelations have struck a chord with her, highlighting the importance of addressing the emotional needs of their beloved pet.

However, Cash isn’t the only one experiencing adjustments within the family. In a recent interview, Josh opened up about becoming a stepfather to Christina’s three children from previous relationships. He acknowledged the learning curve and the need to distribute his attention among the kids, but he also expressed the rewarding aspect of his role, knowing that his influence will shape their future as contributing members of society.
