The heart-wrenching event unfolded as captured by security camera footage, revealing a man identified as Rogelio Diaz crossing a bustling street before halting outside a residence to snatch the unsuspecting feline. Mimi, desperately wriggling in the perpetrator’s grasp, displayed visible signs of distress.

Recalling the tragic ordeal, Mimi’s human, who requested anonymity out of fear of reprisal from Diaz, recounted the gut-wrenching moment when her beloved pet succumbed to the injuries inflicted upon her. “She thought the cat was going to lie, but she was too hurt, and she died in my daughter’s arms,” she lamented.
