Petition: Tech Companies Must Act on AI Sexual Abuse of Children

In one reported case, a teenage boy allegedly used an AI nudifying app on a school bus to generate a fake nude image of a girl. Experts warn this is not isolated. Children as young as 11 are being victimized through realistic, non consensual images shared online. This is image based sexual abuse of minors.

Teachers across the UK, US, Spain, Australia, and beyond report deepfake sexual images spreading through Snapchat, TikTok, WhatsApp, and private group chats. Experts estimate 99 percent of explicit deepfakes target women and girls, many under 18. Survivors describe severe trauma. Tech companies allegedly continue to host these apps, fail to block tools, and rely on slow reporting systems that retraumatize children.
