A photographer is spreading joy and helping animal shelters, one lick at a time! Greg Murray is a photographer that made magic with peanut butter and puppies, TODAY reported.

The photoshoot ended up with a beautiful book, “Peanut Butter Puppies,” showcasing 70 rescue puppies licking peanut butter off their faces. “It was chaotic but in a really fun way,” Murray told TODAY. “I love what I do.”
Murray’s studio in Cleveland hosted dogs from 30 area rescue organizations and shelters. Each dog has since found their forever home! The book publisher, Gibbs Smith, is donating $1 (up to $3,000) from every presale order to animal shelters! Murray hopes the book will help people smile during the pandemic.
So what’s it like to work with animals all day long? “Every day is different and animals just bring so much. They’re fun. They’re happy. They’re forgiving,” he said. “It’s a joy working with them, and I get paid to work with animals for a living. I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world.”
You can pre-order the book here.
It’s important to note that peanut butter, like many other snacks, sometimes contains xylitol, which can cause various health issues, which can be fatal, for dogs and other pets. If you choose to feed your dog peanut butter, use organic peanut butter that doesn’t contain any additives. If you think you’re dog has xylitol poisoning, call the Pet Poison Helpline at 800-213-6680.
