More great news from the weekend. President-elect Joe Biden will be bringing his dog Major to the White House. Major will be the first rescue dog in the White House, according to NBC News.

Major is a German shepherd that was adopted from the Delaware Humane Association. The Bidens adopted Major after fostering him in 2018.

Champ is the Bidens’ other dog, who will be the other member of the Biden family in the White House. Champ and Major are seen regularly on the Bidens‘ social media pages.

Biden tweeted just before election day, “Let’s put dogs back in the White House.” The American people have spoken and they agree!

The Delaware Humane Society shared the news on its Facebook page after the former Vice President adopted Major in 2018.
