Actress and Modern Family alum Ariel Winter shared the exciting news on Instagram recently! The 22-year old announced she had adopted a new dog named Cobey. The rescue dog was adopted in Los Angeles.

Winter announced the news on Instagram stories, “Thank you @TheLabelleFoundation for our special boy Cobey!!!!!! Love him beyond!!!!!!”

The actress has been a long-time animal advocate, sharing her support on Instagram. “TELL YOUR DOGS WE SAID HI!!!!!!!!!!! Happy #nationaldogday from me + the furbabies. Life is ruff😉 right now so…GO ADOPT YOUR FUTURE BEST FRIEND & GET TO CUDDLING,” she wrote on National Dog Day.

She’s already got some cute nicknames for Cobey, including “Cobey a.ka. Cobain a.k.a. Cobeans.”
