A touching TikTok video showcasing the special relationship between a dog and her deaf canine brother has captured hearts around the world. The video, shared by @leviandmaisy, has garnered over 16 million views and beautifully illustrates the bond between Maisy and Levi, a pair of dogs living in North Carolina with their owners, Sierra and Josh Justus.

In the viral clip, Maisy, a two-year-old dog, gently nudges her deaf brother Levi awake. Levi, who is three years old, was born without the ability to hear. Maisy’s tender wake-up call shows her unique way of alerting Levi to their family’s return home. As Maisy leaps onto the couch and softly touches Levi with her nose, Levi joyfully wakes up, his tail wagging as he greets his family with enthusiasm.

Sierra Justus shared that Maisy has grown increasingly attentive and nurturing towards Levi over time. Despite being younger, Maisy has taken on a motherly role, showing concern for Levi’s needs and adjusting her behavior to Support him. This natural caregiving instinct has emerged without any prompting from the Justus family, who have always been supportive of Levi’s special requirements.
