Watch Rescue Cows Enjoy Receiving Hugs From Visitors!

After a rough start in life, these rescue cows at The Gentle Barn are soaking up all the love and attention they were once denied. Many people find cows intimidating due to their large size or fail to spare them a second thought. However, cows are highly intelligent beings who experience emotions like humans. Indeed, cows even have best friends whom they dislike being separated from! Sadly though, many cows are kept in deplorable, inhumane factory farming conditions where they are treated atrociously. Luckily, animal rescues like The Gentle Barn provide some cows a second shot at experiencing the lives they deserve.

In one video shared to TikTok by @thegentlebarn, viewers can see one of the rescue cows interacting with visitors. Text overlay on the video reads “When people ask if our cows like having visitors.” The cow can be seen in the video receiving pats from the guests, and seeming to bask in the attention. This cow, named Madonna, has gained viral fame. The video of her and her admirers has received over 713,000 likes. “Prettiest smile miss Madonna,” commented one TikTok user.
