Josie the Pit Bull Makes TikTok Viewers Shed Tears

TikTok viewers are shedding tears over the viral story of a pit bull named Josie. Shared by her new owner, Erin Berger, the video shares Josie’s story. When Josie arrived at the shelter after being rescued from an abusive, neglectful situation, she was immediately placed on the list to be euthanized. After being kept chained in a yard, and unethically bred many times, Josie was experiencing so much anxiety that she couldn’t walk, eat, or even stand.

Originally, Erin was only supposed to be Josie’s foster. However, after Josie began to trust her, she knew she was meant to be her forever home. Now, thanks to Erin, Josie’s story has a happy ending.  As she began to feel more comfortable in her new home, and with Support from her new doggie sibling, Josie was able to begin to be a normal dog. She is now safe in a home where she is loved and cherished.
