Wolf Cub And Mother At Den Site

Montana has approved a shocking plan allowing hunters to kill up to 558 wolves this season — the highest number in recent history. Each hunter can slaughter as many as 30 wolves, even those roaming near Yellowstone National Park. This reckless policy threatens a keystone species vital for healthy ecosystems.

Wolves regulate prey populations, protect biodiversity, and maintain balance across landscapes. Stripping protections risks collapsing entire food chains — impacts that cascade down to grasses, plants, and other wildlife. Even Montana’s own Fish, Wildlife, and Parks agency admits this hunt could drive wolf populations below sustainable levels in less than a year.

This cruelty is nothing more than pandering to trophy hunters. Wolves deserve the right to exist and thrive in their natural habitats. Sign the petition now to demand Montana reverses this policy and restores full protections for wolves.
