Authorities in Raleigh, North Carolina, rescued 101 dogs from a horrific puppy mill where animals were allegedly crammed into filthy crates, left in their own waste, and suffering with painfully matted fur. Many had no blankets, toys, or comfort of any kind. Puppy mills like this are nothing more than profit-driven cruelty.
Thankfully, all 101 dogs are now safe in the care of rescue groups. But the woman running this operation has only been charged with misdemeanors — charges that do nothing to prevent her from harming animals again. She must be permanently banned from owning, breeding, or working with animals, and required to undergo counseling.
Sign the petition now to demand Raleigh authorities take strong action. No dog should ever endure this nightmare again.
