His antics are largely inspired by his 14-year-old tabby brother, Stepa, with whom he shares a close bond.

Zero’s human, known on TikTok as @zerothepigloaf, revealed that the two have formed a unique connection. “Stepa came first but was used to dogs. Before we got Zero, we had set up a bed and crate for him, and Stepa would often lay in both, meanwhile, Zero would play with the cat tree,” they said.

The viral video that sparked this frenzy features Stepa lounging in the iconic “loaf position” — a posture where cats tuck their paws beneath their bodies, signifying comfort and security. The camera then reveals Zero mimicking this adorable pose, leading to the humorous caption: “So many kinds of bread around here.”
