Ingredients You Need for Pear With Pistachio Mousse and Raw Chocolate Sauce [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

For the Pears:

  • 4-5 pears

For the Pistachio Mousse:

  • 1/2 cup pistachio nuts
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/3 cup of melted virgin coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup

For the Chocolate Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 3 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of sea salt or Himalayan salt

How to Prepare Pear With Pistachio Mousse and Raw Chocolate Sauce [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

To Make the Mousse:

  1. Soak the nuts in lukewarm water overnight, reserving a few for topping.
  2. The next day, add the nuts to a high-speed blender, add remaining mousse ingredients, and blend until smooth.

To Make the Chocolate Sauce:

  1. Combine all ingredients until smooth.

To Assemble:

  1. Chop the reserved nuts. Wash and halve the pears. In each half, pipe or dollop pistachio mousse, pour over chocolate
  2. sauce, and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
