How to Prepare Buffalo Seitan Deep Dish Pizza [Vegan]
To Make the Dough:
- Mix all ingredients together in a standing mixer for 5 minutes or so. Then, allow to rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down and refrigerate for a few hours.
To Make the Pizza:
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Slice the seitan into bite-sized pieces and thoroughly coat each piece in bread crumbs. Pan-fry until crispy, then toss in Buffalo sauce.
- When ready, assemble the pizza as desired, with vegetables, Buffalo seitan bites, and vegan cheese.
- Bake in an 8-9-inch deep dish or springform pan at 450°F. for 25-30 minutes.
