Summer is winding down, and the cooler days of fall will be here before we know it. But there’s still plenty of beautiful, fresh, local produce to be had across the U.S.!
Apples, cantaloupe, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, summer squash, tomatoes, and watermelon are now widely available and at their peak. Enjoy them while they last!
Don’t forget to look for these and other seasonal items at your local farmers market, in your CSA basket, or in your own back yard garden.
