They Thought This Dog Would Never Walk Again After Being Paralyzed in a Car Accident – But Then the Incredible Happened (VIDEO)

Animal Aid Unlimited has done it again! This rescue organization and shelter based in India is known for going above and beyond to help animals in need and this story is just another example. Sadly, millions of homeless animals roam the streets of India, but Animal Aid Unlimited rescues 15-25 sick animals every day! 

They recently got a phone call on their hotline about a homeless dog who had been hit by a car and was unable to stand. When Animal Aid arrived on the scene, the poor dog was visibly in pain and heartbreakingly couldn’t understand why his legs wouldn’t move. The poor dog didn’t know the Animal Aid Rescue Team were “good guys” and he was terrified when they tried to pick him up.

But Animal Aid didn’t give up and with lots of patience, they were able to get the scared dog off the streets and to their hospital. Now able to take a better look at his condition, Animal Aid realized the dog suffered trauma to his spine which was causing significant nerve damage. Nerve damage is often permanent but they tried physical therapy anyways.

With weeks of rest and continued physical therapy, something incredible happened … he walked again! Now named Georgie, the sweet pup is up and walking and as you can see in the above video, he loves a good ear scratch!
