Infographic: Meat is Killing Us

Online Associates Degree recently developed an infographic summarizing recent news and studies linking meat consumption to heart disease, cancer, stroke, obesity, and early death. It also highlights the ever-popular pink slime, a substance made of ground beef scraps and other connective tissue.

The hard-hitting inforgraphic begins: “people think eating meat just kills animals, but the truth is, it’s also killing you.” For more information and statistics, check out the image below.

    correlation of red meat consumption and heart deaths does not equal causation. Also you seem to have a vendetta against red meat but not against other forms of meat – only difference of red meat is that is has more iron.
