Thank you, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC), for posting this adorable video of baby rhino Esme and her BFF, David the dog! They are enjoying each other’s company, the cool mud, and just having a chill day.
According to a post by HESC, “David and Esmé spend every waking moment together… Esmé follows David around whenever they are let out of the boma. They both enjoy being in the sun. We are happy to see Esmé doing well, and we are glad we could help this little one.”
HESC is dedicated to the conservation of rare, vulnerable, or endangered animals with a special focus on the cheetah. The organization also provides a haven for orphaned and sick animals and serves as an education center, where the public can learn more about the animals and the organization’s work.
