Cows raised for veal live the most miserable lives of any livestock animal. Veal meat is known for being white and tender, which may be deemed ideal by the consumer, but means tremendous cruelty for the cow.  Why else should you stop eating veal?  Keep reading to learn the top 7 reasons why you should steer clear of this meat.

1.  JUST A BABY

In case you didn’t know, veal is meat from a baby cow.  That’s right, that poor slaughtered creature was only a baby.  They are usually killed at 14-16 weeks of age, living miserable lives up to that point.  To get a better understanding of the cruelty you would be supporting when buying this form of meat, let’s take a look at the agony and anguish this young innocent creature is forced to suffer before making its way to someone’s dinner plate.
