When this vanilla oatmeal is made correctly it is not too sweet and you can taste the vanilla in it.  You can top this oatmeal with your favorite fruit and/or edible seeds like chia or hemp seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1 1/3 cup vanilla flavored plant-based milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar

Preparation

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a pot and stir until combined.
  2. Place the pot on the stove over medium heat.
  3. Stir the oatmeal continuously until the oatmeal begins to boil.
  4. Let the oatmeal boil for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from stove and serve with or without your favorite fruits.
