These vegan strawberry biscuits are light, sweet, and delicious! They are quite simple to make and use ingredients you probably already have in your pantry, too. All you have to do is mix the ingredients in a food processor, knead the dough, cut into little biscuits, bake, and you're good to go! Serve them with vegan cream cheese and extra strawberries for a tasty treat that tastes like a strawberry short cake!

Strawberry Sweet Biscuits [Vegan]

  • 3/8 cup (or 6 tablespoons) coconut milk
  • 1 cup organic pastry flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup spelt flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • generous pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup organic sugar, + more for sprinkling
  • 1/3 cup cold coconut oil
  • fresh strawberries


  1. Preheat oven 400F
  2. Mix together dry ingredients in food processor
  3. Add in the coconut oil, pulse until mixture looks like little peas
  4. Add 1 tablespoon at a time of the coconut milk into processor until mixture pulls from sides of bowl
  5. Move dough onto lightly floured surface
  6. Knead until comes together, roll or pat down into rectangle, 1/2″ thick
  7. Cut dough with desired sized cutters
  8. Pat scraps together & cut until all dough is used
  9. Transfer biscuits to baking sheet, 2″ apart
  10. Brush with coconut milk & sprinkle with sugar
  11. Bake for 16 – 18 minutes
  12. Allow to cool
  13. Serve with strawberries
