How to Prepare Spicy Cauliflower and Broccoli Cheese Bake [Vegan]

  1. Prepare and wash the vegetables.
  2. Place the cauliflower florets in boiling water. Simmer the cauliflower for around 8 minutes. Add it into a steamer with the broccoli, then steam for about another 10 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. While the vegetables are steaming, you can prepare the sauce. You will need about 2 1/2 cups of dairy-free cheese sauce. Sprinkle the chili flakes into the sauce mix and stir.
  4. Place the sauce on the stove and gently heat stirring continuously until the sauce has thickened.
  5. When the vegetables are ready, place them into a casserole dish and pour over the delightful, cheesy sauce.
  6. Crumble the kale chips over the cauliflower and broccoli bake.
  7. Place the Bake in the Oven at 375°F for 10 minutes. You can place some foil over the top to stop the kale chips from burning, if you'd like.
  8. After about 10-15 minutes, take the bake out of the oven. Be very careful as the dish will be boiling hot. The bake is ready to serve straight away.
