Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 lime, zest and juice
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts
  • Ginger
  • 1/2 of 1 small chili pepper
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

Preparation

  1. Coarsely blend all ingredients, without adding any water. Add more ground almonds to reach the desired consistency if need be. Shape into balls, let the bites rest in the freezer overnight, then store in the refrigerator. Wait at least 12 hours before consuming.
