This fruity buckwheat porridge recipe will keep you full well into lunch time! What's great about is that it's really a no fuss, quick “put it all in a blender and go” recipe — the only real preparation you have to do is put the buckwheat to soak in the fridge the night before. In the morning, all you'll really need is your blender.
Raw Baobab Buckwheat Porridge [Vegan]
- 1/2 cup raw buckwheat
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon baobab powder
- Ginger powder, to taste
- 1/3 cup rice milk
- Water, for soaking
- Rinse the buckwheat well and put into a bowl with water to soak. Put the lid on and leave in the fridge over night.
- Discard the water from soaking and rinse the buckwheat again.
- Put the buckwheat, banana, baobab, and ginger in a blender or food processor and pulse. Add the milk slowly and pulse until you have the desired consistency.
