How to Prepare Orange Almond Millet Cheesecake [Vegan, Gluten-Free]
- Cook millet with 2 cups of water.
- When the water has almost evaporated, add the milk, vegetable oil, coconut oil, sugar, and vanilla pod cut in half.
- Everything should cook for approximately 30 minutes, until the millet is tender. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more milk. Remove the vanilla pod.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except orange peel) and stir to obtain a creamy consistency. At the end, add the grated orange peel.
- Pour the batter into a springform pan, sprinkle with almonds, and bake approximately 390°F for an hour.
vegetable oil is not listed in ingredient list..how much vegetable oil, in addition to the coconut oil for this orange almond millet cheesecake?
You mention adding vegetable oil and coconut oil but only coconut oil is listed in the ingredients. How much vegetable oil please? Also after adding the milk to the cooked millet, do you mean it should then cook for a further 30 minutes or in total. Sorry, I am a little confused. Thank you
