  • 1 8-ounce block tempeh
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 2 tablespoons tamari
  • 1 large handful of peanuts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Prepare Kung Pao Tempeh [Vegan]

  1. Preheat oven to 390°F and prepare a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat.
  2. Cut the tempeh into large cubes. Marinate with the tamari, then bake for about 20 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, wash and cut the vegetables. Briefly fry the vegetables until soft, seasoning with salt and pepper, and extra tamari, to taste. Alternatively, you can roast them in the oven with the tempeh.
  4. Mix the vegetables, baked tempeh, and peanuts, and serve.
