This pasta is super creamy, rich, satisfying, savory, comforting, very simple to make, tummy-friendly, and just so delicious! The spinach and feta combo gives this pasta that spanakopita flavor. Which is one of the best flavors. It makes a great speedy lunch or dinner and it is perfect for busy days!  

Creamy Spinach Pasta [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

Cooking Time



  • 2 tablespoons garlic-infused olive oil
  • 5.3 ounces spinach (chopped)
  • 10.6 ounces lactose-free cream cheese *use plant-based for vegan
  • 3.5 ounces feta cheese *use plant-based feta style cheese for vegan
  • salt & black pepper according to taste
  • 10.6 ounces gluten-free pasta of choice


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup cooking water.
  2. In a large pan, heat up garlic infused olive oil, add the spinach and sauté on medium heat or 5min or until the spinach is wilted.
  3. Add the cream cheese and let it cook on medium heat for another 5-8 minutes. Add the crumbled feta cheese and cook for about 3-4minutes or until the feta is melted.
  4. Stir in the pasta, add reserved cooking liquid if needed to loosen the sauce.
  5. Enjoy!

  1. I have yet to find a plant based feta that tastes anything like feta. Would love to make this recipe if I found one, though! Otherwise, this recipe is just cruel temptation to include here without tips on how to make it, linking to another Food Monster recipe that tells you how to make it, or even suggesting a well known brand where it might be bought online.
