Balsamic Blueberry Sage Sauce [Vegan]
You won't want to let a drop of this vibrant sauce go to waste. A little savory, a little sweet, and creamy from cashews, this sauce can be a topping for practically anything, but we especially recommend drizzling it on salads!
Ingredients You Need for Balsamic Blueberry Sage Sauce [Vegan]
How to Prepare Balsamic Blueberry Sage Sauce [Vegan]
- Measure out half a cup of cashews, add them to a bowl and cover them with water, so they are at least an inch below the water line. Let them soak at least 3-4 hours, preferably 8 hours, or overnight.
- Drain and rinse the cashews, then add to a high speed/powered blender.
- Add half a cup of fresh water, half a cup of blueberries, and the rest of the ingredients to the blender as well. If using frozen blueberries, let them thaw at room temperature first.
- Blend it all together until smooth with no speckles.
Notes
Store the leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge.
