These aloo tikki burgers are incredibly delicious. The patties consist of hearty potatoes and a fantastic spice mix, then they're lightly breaded and then fried. This is the burger you never knew you needed in your life.

Ingredients You Need for Aloo Tikki Burger [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  • 4 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
  • 3/4 cup green peas, cooked
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon amchoor powder (dried mango powder)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • Gluten-free buns

How to Prepare Aloo Tikki Burger [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  1. In a bowl combine potatoes, peas, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, dried mango powder, and garam masala and mix them well.
  2. Add the rice flour and mix until it's incorporated.
  3. Make 6 patties similar to the size of the burger bun.
  4. In a mixing bowl combine all-purpose flour, salt, and garlic powder.
  5. Add water to make the batter thin.
  6. Dip patties in flour batter and coat them well.
  7. Coat the battered patties with bread crumbs and refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
  8. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  9. Add the patties and fry them for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they're golden brown and crisp. Drain them on a paper towel.
  10. Toast your bun.
  11. Assemble your burger with whatever toppings you would like.
