VFC, the UK vegan fried chicken brand that has been making waves since its launch in 2020, is expanding to the US after rolling in a significant amount of investments.Â
VFC’s vegan chicken products are currently limited to restaurants and will not be available for individual purchases in the US. However, with popularity, they will hopefully be able to start putting their products in grocery stores.
At the moment, only West Coast restaurants are able to purchase these products, but a full expansion is planned so that all US restaurants will have the option.
The products that will be available are the Chick*n Fillets, Chick*n Bites, and Popcorn Chick*n. They are all available in 22-pound boxes, which makes them perfect for adding vegan options to restaurant menus.
VFC’s products are made out of a base of seitan and rolled in a golden corn flake coating to imitate traditional fried chicken. Not only is the vegan chicken delicious, but it also contains a decent amount of protein to keep you going.
This is yet another vegan chicken brand that is rolling into the US, making it easier for vegans and vegetarians alike to get their hands on meat substitutes.
