Oat milk latte lovers, get excited for September! RISE Brewing Co., known for their highly caffeinated, low-acidity nitro cold brew coffee, is releasing canned oat milk latte in September. The product will come in two flavors, Mocha Latte and a classic Oat Milk Latte. While Sweden has canned oat milk latte products sold by Oatly, this will be the first product of its kind in the United States.
The chemical and additive-free coffee brand’s co-founder, Jarrett McGovern, said in a statement to BevNET in June that the decision came after noticing the amount of people looking for non-dairy options at RISE cafes for their lattes, and the desire to ensure that customers preferences were being listened to. Even more great news: The company’s nitrogen-infused coffees are non-GMO certified organic and gluten-free, according to their website.
Co-founder and CEO Grant Gyesky told Refinery29 that the decision to use oat milk came after spending a year trying many different dairy alternatives and testing the various options at pop up cafes located in New York, where oat milk was by far the most preferred among consumers. The company started a Kickstarter to help Support this idea, and those who pledged $25 or more will be the first to receive the product. RISE raised more than $25,000, well over their $20,000 goal.
The lattes will be available online on the RISE website and on Amazon, and on tap at RISE cafes. Additionally, you will be able to purchase them at Whole Foods and Foodkick, according to Refinery29, and a case of 12 will cost $34.99 while an individual can will be between $2.99 and $3.99. Make sure to try this product out!
